What is IP Passthrough?

IP Passthrough allows the router to distribute the IP address obtained by the WAN port directly to a device connected to the LAN port. This is often used when an external device needs to be directly accessible from the outside. Only one device can obtain the WAN address, and the LAN port must be set to a static IP type.
