What is VRRP and how is it used?

VRRP (Virtual Router Redundancy Protocol) groups multiple routers to form a single virtual router to act as a gateway. If the master router fails, a backup router takes over the gateway duties based on priority, ensuring uninterrupted communication for hosts in the LAN. The IR302 supports configuring a virtual IP, virtual MAC, and priority levels.
