3.2.2 Wall-Mount Removal
Specific steps are as follows:
With one hand supporting the device, use the other hand to remove the screws that secure the upper end of the device. This will allow you to detach the device from its mounting location.
3.3 SIM card Installation
IR900 supports dual micro-SIM cards. Push the hole on the left of the SIM card slot to eject it. Then insert the SIM card. As shown in Fig. 3-5.

3.4 Antenna Installation
Rotate the metal interface clockwise until the movable part cannot be rotated, do not hold the black glue stick to twist the antenna. As shown in Fig. 3-6.
Fig. 3-6 Antenna Installation
Note:
The IR900 supports dual antennas: the ANT antenna and the AUX antenna. The ANT antenna is used for both data transmission and reception, while the AUX antenna is solely for enhancing signal strength and cannot be used for data transmission or reception independently.
In most cases, using only the ANT antenna is sufficient. You would only use the AUX antenna in conjunction with the ANT antenna when you have poor signal quality and need to boost the signal.
3.5 Power Installation
Specific steps are as follows:
Step 1: Remove the terminals from the router.
Step 2: Loosen the locking screws on the terminals.
Step 3: Insert the power cables into the terminals and tighten the screws.

3.6 Protective Grounding Installation
Specific steps are as follows:
Step 1: Unscrew the grounding nut.
Step 2: Slide the grounding ring of the cabinet ground wire onto the grounding bolt.
Step 3: Tighten the grounding nut.
Note:
To enhance the router's overall immunity to interference, it is necessary to ground the router when in use. Depending on the operating environment, connect the ground wire to the router's grounding bolt.
3.7 Ethernet Cable Connection
Connect the router and PC directly using an Ethernet cable, as shown in Fig. 3-8.
Fig. 3-8 Ethernet Cable Connection
3.8 Terminal Connection
The serial port and IO interface connections are achieved through terminal connections. Before use, the corresponding wires need to be connected to the terminals.
The device's serial port provides two interface modes: RS232 and RS485. IO interface input terminals: IN represents digital input terminals, and COM represents the ground terminal. IO interface output terminals: RELAY represents the relay output terminal.
For installation, remove the terminals from the device, loosen the locking screws on the terminals, insert the corresponding cables into the terminals, and then tighten the screws. The arrangement of the wires is as shown in Fig. 3-9.

4 Access to Internet
4.1 Connecting to the Router
Please set the IP address of the management computer within the same network segment as the router's FE port IP address (the router has two FE ports, with the initial IP address of FE 0/1 port being 192.168.1.1, and the initial IP address of FE 0/2 port being 192.168.2.1, with a subnet mask of 255.255.255.0). The following is an example of setting up the connection between FE 0/2 port and a management computer in Windows XP system.

4.2 Logging into the Router
Access to the default IP address 192.168.2.1 in a browser, enter username and password (Please look at the nameplate at the bottom of the device for login credentials) in pop-up window and then access to router’s WEB management page. If the browser alarms the connection is not private, show advanced, and proceed to access to the address.
