AI Assistant User Guide

This document introduces the capabilities and usage guidelines of the InCloud Manager AI Assistant.
Note: This feature is currently in public beta. Stay tuned for the official release.

Overview

The InCloud Manager AI Assistant is an intelligent operations tool powered by conversational AI technology. It understands natural language input, responds instantly with professional insights, and helps you work more efficiently in areas such as device management, network operations, and troubleshooting.
Through AI-driven analytics and knowledge support, you can easily monitor network performance, quickly access the information you need, and automate daily management workflows — significantly improving operational efficiency.

How to Access the AI Assistant?

1.AI Network Assistant
Log in to InCloud Manager and click the AI Network Assistant icon in the upper-right corner to start using it.

2.AI Configuration Assistant
Go to the Devices menu, select the device you want to configure, click Configuration-> Edit, and then click the AI Configuration Assistant button in the configuration window to begin.
Note: The AI configuration feature is currently supported only on FWA02-NAVA with firmware version V2.0.16.


3.AI Log Analysis
Go to Device Details->Tools, then click the AI icon next to the operation log to launch log analysis.

What Can the AI Assistant Do for You?

The AI Assistant helps network operation teams reduce management workload, accelerate troubleshooting, and enhance the end-user network experience.
  1. Intelligent Q&A: Available 24/7 to answer questions and assist you with daily management and operational tasks.
  2. Semantic Configuration: Configure devices easily through natural language — simply tell the AI what you want to set up, and it generates or modifies configurations automatically.
  3. Fault Diagnosis: Analyze network status and logs to identify potential issues and provide actionable solutions, helping you detect risks early and improve maintenance efficiency.

Key Use Cases

1. Intelligent Q&A
Get instant answers to your questions about network knowledge, platform or device features, usage instructions, and common troubleshooting topics.
Example questions:
  1. What signal values determine cellular strength?
  2. How do I use the Cloud Connect network?
  3. How can I remotely access a printer connected to my router?
  4. How do I configure IPSec for ODU2002-NAVA?
  5. Why did my device go offline from the platform?
2. Semantic Configuration
Simplify complex configuration processes through natural language instructions and improve operational efficiency.
Example questions:
  1. Schedule my router to reboot automatically at 3:00 AM every Sunday to avoid network lag.
  2. Add a new firewall rule to block all outbound traffic to [IP address].
  3. Add two Wi-Fi networks, SSID: test_2.4GWiFi1 and test_2.4GWiFi2, password: xxxxx.
  4. Configure the downstream camera (192.168.2.200/32) so its traffic only routes through the WAN port.
3. Log Analysis
The AI Assistant simplifies root cause analysis and provides actionable next steps — minimizing downtime and reducing maintenance burden.
Example questions:
  1. Analyze today’s network connection performance.
  2. Why did the device frequently disconnect today?
4. Network Diagnosis
Use historical network signal data to identify past or potential network issues and receive recommended solutions.

Feedback and Suggestions

The AI Assistant grows with your feedback. If you encounter any issues, have suggestions, or want to share ideas during your experience, you can:
  1. Rate responses using 👍 or 👎 after interactions.
  2. Submit feedback via the platform’s Feedback feature.
  3. Email us directly at incloud@inhandnetworks.com.
When providing feedback, please include:
  1. The task you wanted to complete.
  2. Your expected outcome.
  3. Any abnormal results or behaviors observed from the AI Assistant.

FAQ

1.Can I apply AI-generated suggestions directly?
The AI Assistant strives to provide accurate and reliable information. However, to ensure stable system operation, we recommend that any critical configuration changes be reviewed and validated by your network operations team before implementation.

2.Will the AI Configuration Assistant automatically push configurations to devices?
No. The AI Configuration Assistant will not automatically push configurations. Generated configurations require manual review and confirmation — only after you click “Apply” will the platform send them to the device.
If you find the AI-generated configuration inaccurate, you can further refine it through dialogue or adjust it manually.
